Equipment Check

Regular Checks

All equipment needs regular checking, failure of filters, heaters and pumps could result in loss of livestock. Periodically parts may need replacing due to wear and tear and over time it may be necessary to upgrade equipment that becomes outdated as marine equipment is constantly advancing.

Monitoring

Certain equipment will need monitoring and adjusting, particularly in marine set ups, the chemical media will need changing monthly. Tanks can develop leaks which require drainage and the livestock to be re housed until a replacement tank is available.
